Tash
Tash’s passion for alignment and finding inner strength has spanned over 20 years of Pilates teaching. Her vision of opening her own unique space in which she could share her passion led her to create South Street Loft.
Tash has a solid foundation in the remedial method of Pilates and was fortunate enough to train with Alan Herdman, who in the 70's brought Pilates to the UK.
Tash then went on to train with Bob Liekens of Power Pilates and Pilatesology, embracing the classical system. Tash has spent many happy years enjoying a successful teaching career in London combining both disciplines.
Her journey in yoga started 10 years ago having discovered and fallen in love with the Mysore Ashtanga self-practice, which has since always been a place of spiritual growth.
Tash’s playful all inclusive approach aims to brings out everyone’s superpowers!
Jo
Sun Power Yoga is formed around the classical sun salutation and builds (like the heat of the day) to a strong, dance like, fluid form called, the Sun Power Series.
This style of yoga is a real eclectic mix of 3 traditional styles;
IYENGAR for alignment.
SIVANANDA for subtle mind and body work through the power of breath.
ASTANGA for heat, flexibility stamina and grace.
I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years now and teaching for 10 years. I began my yoga journey while expecting my first child, not realising the power of breath until child birth. My sister in law, who is my yoga teacher trainer too, shared her yoga knowledge and taught me how to breath properly.

Fitness is my passion & I thrive from people achieving their goals. Get ready to succeed in every workout & push your body to the limits.'
Rae
Rae is a 200hr qualified yoga teacher who is keen that yoga should always be 'kind' to both body and mind. Through a fusion of yoga styles she uses postures and gentle movement to benefit agility, mobility, balance and co-ordination. Breath work and relaxation techniques, including restorative yoga and yoga nidra are woven into Rae's classes to enhance the practice. 'Kind' yoga is not about performance or the aesthetic of achieving a specific shape in a posture or movement. It is about a physical, mental and emotional journey towards greater kindness to the self, self-awareness, and perhaps over time, coming to a place of inner peace for now and long into the future.
Rae is currently training to become 500hr qualified in between taking care of two teenagers, two lively dogs and working as a freelance publisher and editor.
